A Medical Devices Rapid Prototyping Facility funded by BIRAC as a part of National Biopharma Mission Supported by DECPL and IESA
Marathwada MedTech Lab (MMTL) is an ISO 13485:2016 certified Medical Devices Rapid Prototyping Facility. It is an initiative of Gramaudyogik Shikshan Mandal (GSM) and Netra Accelerator Foundation funded by BIRAC as a part of National Biopharma Mission, Government of India.
his initiative is supported by MIT Group of Academic and Research Institutions which offer NABL accredited testing facilities and scale up plastic processing facilities, and Deogiri Electronics Cluster Pvt Ltd (DECPL- a brown field PPP project) for scale up electronics manufacturing. It is well supported by other ecosystem partners Marathwada Auto Cluster (MAC – A green field PPP project) Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Incubation Council promoted by CMIA (MAGIC) and Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST) which offers funding support to entrepreneurs.
With these partnerships MMTL is uniquely positioned to offer RPT, small batch production and scale up production.
Since this is a Govt of India funded facility, the services offered are at a very competitive prices thus reducing product costs for an entrepreneur. Aurangabad being an auto ancillary hub, there is an ecosystem for development and scale up of commercial scale production.
Entrepreneurs and startups in non medical domain are also welcome to avail of MMTL services.
